YumaSunGallery > Why? That's the first thought that comes to mind when one sees this gate, apparently to nowhere, in the desert about 67 miles north of Yuma off U.S. 95. Along with a sign that reads "KEEP THIS GATE CLOSED," the gate hanging between the two posts is locked with a heavy chain and padlock. And that's all; there is no fence on either side, which again beckons the questions why is there a gate here, and why must it be kept closed?
