Law Enforcement officers and personnel from area agencies and Fire Departments began the task of of transporting the Special Olympics torch across 151 miles of Arizona at 6:30 am Wednesday. Participating agencies include Yuma PD, Immigrations Customs Enforcement, Arizona Department of Public Safety, San Luis PD, Yuma COunty Sheriff's Office, Yuma Co. ADult Probation, Arizona Department of Corrections, Cocopah Tribal PD, Bureau of Land Manangement, Marine Corps Air Station Provost Marshall's Office, Yuma COunty Juvenile Justice Center, Somerton PD, Wellton PD and U.S. Customs and Border Protection. By 8:30 am they were making their way along Interstate 8 near Foothills Boulevard. Terry Ketron
