Whitney Solis enjoys preparing herself for a future in business and has been nominated in the technical category.

Janet Hill, a computer instructor at Antelope Union High School, stated in her nomination letter that Solis' ability "to work with others is one of her outstanding attributes, her willingness to help others is outstanding, and she works to improve herself at the same time."

Solis has received a computer award, an accounting award and an English award. She is active in soccer, Key Club and volleyball.

The daughter of Carlos and Mary Lou Solis, Whitney plans to attend Arizona Western College and study business and psychology.
