Timmarie Swift Arrow

Timmarie Swift Arrow at San Pasqual High School has been nominated for the science award.

Science teacher Terri George wrote in his nomination letter that Swift Arrow "has undertaken coursework in five science disciplines and has excelled at all of them. (Her) intrinsic motivation and leadership skills have also had a positive impact on peers, both in and outside the classroom."

Swift Arrow says what she enjoys most about the study of science is "the discovery of matter and planets. I like learning the functions of how the world works."

She has participated in sports all four years of high school and now serves as senior class president. She has also been active in 4-H for the past four years.

The daughter of Jerilyn Swift Arrow, she plans to attend Collins College School of Technology and major in computer networking.
