Pearle Budde

Kofa High School senior Pearle Budde enjoys being able to write and express her thoughts. She was nominated by English teacher Robert Qualls, who wrote in his letter that she is "an energetic student, strives to learn and thrives on acquiring new knowledge."

Qualls wrote, "Her delightful smile constantly brightens the day, especially when she makes an unexpected discovery as relates to learning. Each day brings a dawning personal awareness that she can achieve much in her life."

Budde has volunteered at an elementary school for two years and is a member of the Honor Roll. She has been active in the Drama Club for five years and is the treasurer for CBE.

Budde is the daughter of Crystal Hernandez.

She plans to attend Pima Community College after high school and to transfer to the University of Arizona.
