The United States Marine Drum and Bugle Corps, traditionally known as "The Commandant's Own," is comprised of 85 Marines recruited from various civilian drum corps, marching bands and other musical units within the Marine Corps. The band, known as the "Commandants Own" from Marine Barracks Washington D.C., are part of the Battle Color Detachment and have been in town since the beginning of Feb. to practice before their touring season.
