Persephone Stanfield

Learning all the creative things you can do on a computer is one of the reasons Persephone Stanfield has been nominated for the Sun Scholars' technical award.

The Calvary Baptist School senior has a sense of humor and a positive outlook that enables her to influence other students, according to teacher Laila Meyers.

In her nomination letter, Meyers said Stanfield is "always willing to assist with computer assignments, and enjoys helping younger students learn new skills."

A Goal Setter award winner and member of the "B" honor roll, Stanfield was a member of the yearbook staff who says she enjoyed being in the school band.

She is the daughter of Christopher and Lisa Marie Stanfield.

Her future plans include studying business in college and eventually going to law school.
